Day 222 of 365

I really liked this shot of a hibiscus that I took, but in color, it was just too flat and I didn’t like it with more contrast…so I decided to try black and white – me likee! I’m not a huge fan of black and white, but there are times when it just looks better…

Day 159 of 365

Recently I was watching a YouTube video by Elaine Giles on Pixelmator Photo. I’ve had the app for several months now, but haven’t played around with it much…

Day 49 of 365

Here’s a sneak peak at my new baby. I am so in love with the retro design with dials for ISO, Shutter Speed and Exposure Compensation…feels like I have a digital version of my old Nikon FM.

Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Flowers

This week Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge is Flowers. That happens to be one of my favorite topics to photograph. I found a beautiful Asiatic Lily today at Walmart and this afternoon, I got my camera out to take some dreamy photos of my beauty. Using my camera’s multiple exposure feature, I captured the dreamy look I was after. I used Topaz Studio to convert to Black and White and add grain.

Weekend Freebie 05-25-18: Splash Texture

Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Through a Window

I decided to enter Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge this week since it had a topic of “Through a Window”. A couple of weekends ago I was walking around Moorpark College with my photography buddy/sister and was taking pictures of the reflections on the library windows…you can also see into and through the windows.
